You will be required to carry out tasks and duties delegated by the Registered Manager in an effective and efficient manner, ensuring at all times the social and domestic care needs of service users.

You should hold an SVQ 3 Social Services and Healthcare, or equivalent level qualification, to enable registration with the SSSC.

You will carry out a range of care tasks, ensuring safe, person-centred support in line with NHS Orkney policies. The role includes maintaining care standards, participating in ongoing training, and contributing to a positive patient experience. Your application form will include an assessment question about delivery patient/client care.

You will be home-based, ideally living in the Central Belt and capable of handling a wide range of quality personal injury losses on a cradle-to-grave basis. Our client concentrates on smaller caseloads of quality losses with all work being undertaken on a time and expensed basis.

You should be self-motivated and confident in your own ability.
