You will be responsible for ensuring the Engineering works are Safe & Secure by creating specialist plans and reviews.
You will examine the engineering activities and manage the delivery of the safety aspects required for them.
You will have experience in developing business cases in the defence sector with an understanding of the full business case lifecycle from Project Initiation to Full Business Case. This role will require you to be comfortable producing documentation and supporting annexes, coordinating diverse and challenging stakeholders and to have excellent attention to detail.
You will manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities, through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience. Day to day, you will: Participate in / facilitate HAZID and HAZOP studies and develop Hazard Management Strategies. Author and verify radiological safety assessments, including dose calculations, risk assessments and ALARP justifications.
