You will work closely with SEN teachers, therapists and support staff to deliver a pupil-centred approach that prioritises communication, sensory engagement, wellbeing and independence. Key Responsibilities: - Provide specialist 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with PMLD, in line with EHCPs and personalised learning programmes
You will be supporting them developing their day to day and academic skills as well as their social emotional needs, in preparation for their transition to secondary education.
You will have a timetable to provide interventions and cover classes across the school.
You will also be required to assist with personal care, ensuring the child’s well-being and comfort throughout the school day.
