SEN Primary Teacher jobs in Basingstoke
You will be required to plan and prepare fun and engaging lessons to small groups of children which are tailored to meet their individual learning levels. They are a purpose built school in Basingstoke with specialist classrooms and extensive external grounds. Their aim is to provide opportunities for all children to thrive, reach their potential and have the skills necessary to overcome barriers.
You will teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4 where appropriate, adapting lessons to meet individual needs and starting points.
You will work closely with experienced teaching assistants, pastoral staff and leaders who understand SEMH and value trauma-informed, restorative practice.
You will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, supporting pupils’ progress, and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment. This is an exciting opportunity to become a valued part of our school community, with the position starting in January 2026.
You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a Year 1 class, working closely with other teaching colleagues to ensure support and consistency. The role includes full teaching responsibilities. A knowledge of Essential Letters and Sounds would be advantageous.
