You will work closely with the class teacher and SEN staff to implement support strategies, adapt learning activities, and encourage positive behaviour and engagement. This role requires a calm and consistent approach, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to supporting a child’s individual needs both in and out of the classroom.

You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider support staff to provide tailored support that meets individual pupil needs. The role may involve 1:1 or small group support, assisting pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

You will work 1:1 with a non-verbal pupil in Year 2. The child is active and may attempt to run off, so this role is ideal for someone who is physically active, alert and confident managing movement around the classroom and school. No intimate or personal care is required.
