You will be responsible for creating optimized design concepts and mechanical design specifications for products, parts, components, and systems, ensuring they meet rigorous standards for performance, reliability, durability, and serviceability. Key Responsibilities: - Lead design and development for complex engineering assignments.
You will lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems, taking ownership from concept through to detailed design and validation. This is a product-focused role requiring strong CAD capability and the ability to work independently with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier stakeholders.
You will apply advanced engineering principles and design practices to create optimised mechanical concepts that balance performance, cost, manufacturability, durability, and serviceability. Location: Darlington (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Contract: 6 months (extension expected upon positive evaluation)
