You will be following the planning of the class teacher, ensuring to give feedback on all lessons and sessions.
You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role.
You will lead curriculum development, quality improvement, and recruitment strategies, ensuring outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment.
You will hold a degree or equivalent industry qualification, with a teaching qualification being essential.
You will teach English Literature and Language across KS3–KS5, delivering lessons that encourage close reading, thoughtful discussion and sophisticated written expression.
You will also have opportunities to contribute to debating societies, creative writing groups, theatre visits and wider enrichment.
