The substantive postholder has a particular responsibility for Kirkwall Grammar School’s Pupil Support teams, working closely with the Principal Teachers for Guidance and Support for Learning; experience of one or both areas will be an advantage.

You should hold a SVQ2 or equivalent SCQF level 5 qualification in an administration related subject. Where you do not hold this, a minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role is essential. A positive and enthusiastic team player is required who enjoys interacting with children and adults in a busy environment.
