You will be part of a small team and supported by the Team Manager.
You will be responsible for managing your own case load, managing a waiting list, undertaking assessments, delivering up to 6 counselling sessions on a 1:1 basis within schools and/or within the Community and completing digital recordings.
You will be instrumental in providing consistency, and equipping children and young people with tools to ensure they feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe that they can succeed in life. This is a challenging role and any previous experience in a relevant field would be advantageous, but is not essential.
You will promote and improve the mental health, emotional resilience and wellbeing of children and young people, who are negatively affected or are at risk of being affected by poor mental health.
You will be able to effectively engage with young people to deliver counselling support, in the local community and home setting.
