You will work with capture, bid and projects / programmes teams as they define their approach, supporting the teams in generating robust and defendable costed solutions that deliver through the various phases of the development, manufacturing and support life cycles.

You will become a key member of the team, with technical knowledge and practical expertise in the use of both common and specialist tools and test equipment, including the use of a variety of measuring, testing, diagnostic aids/equipment and processes to ensure individual components, assemblies and/or integrated systems meet the required specification.

You will support the team to deliver systems and equipment solutions to deadlines and within budget, including participating in systems requirements and design work, project reviews, system test and possibly site and platform visits for surveys, installations or trials. You will have gained or be on track to achieve a bachelor's degree in a STEM Subject in one of the following subject areas:

You will either have proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally from an Electro-Mechanical assembly/fabrication background (other manufacturing environments will also be considered).

You will learn the key skills required for working in the manufacturing areas; assembly techniques, wiring and looming, soldering and ESD safety.

You will receive all the relevant equipment and software needed to work throughout Thales.
