You will be working at Thornford Park, a 130 bedded independent hospital which supports service users that require medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services. In addition to these services there is also a PICU Mental Health Service. The service provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering people in their recovery and rehabilitation.

You will deputise for the Lead Social Worker in quality assurance meetings and support the delivery of safeguarding induction and update training across the hospital.

You will be part of a well-established multidisciplinary team offering personalised assessment and treatment programmes in a structured, recovery-focused environment.

You will support vulnerable children and teenagers who have been diagnosed with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

You will also assist them in developing essential skills such as emotional literacy, self-regulation, positive social interactions, and resilience.

You will be based within a specialist mental health service that includes medium secure, low secure and rehabilitation units. The service provides a seamless internal care pathway, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, personality disorders and histories of offending or placement breakdowns.
