You will work collaboratively with individuals, families, and partner agencies to manage safeguarding concerns effectively.

You will also provide guidance on adult safeguarding policies, maintain accurate records, prepare reports in accordance with regulatory standards, and actively participate in multi-agency meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and effective care delivery.

You will need to be able to demonstrate good experience, knowledge and skills of ability to work in front line setting; being able to work with a complex and diverse range of needs and risks; and making effective and timely decisions involving child protection, child in need and Early Help interventions.

You should have post-qualified experience in adult safeguarding, with expertise in Section 42 safeguarding enquiries, risk assessments, and multi-agency collaboration. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergency safeguarding situations are essential.

You will provide reliable knowledge and guidance on social work theories and intervention models. Additionally, you will oversee and assess social work students during their practice placements and present evidence in court for care proceedings as needed.

You will work closely with legal professionals and other agencies to safeguard children.

You will manage a high case load, assess and manage risks to children, and collaborate with other professionals to deliver effective support and achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
