You will be supported by the Physiotherapy lead and Outpatient Lead for supervision, appraisal & development, and will be responsible for the supervision of a rotational band 6.
You will have a full clinical caseload and work alongside other Paediatric Physiotherapists, and the MDT whilst supporting the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist and Head of Therapies with service development initiatives.
You will be an integral part of the team, including a Band 8a clinical Lead physiotherapist, Band 7’s, static and rotational 6’s, rotational 5’s and therapy assistant practitioners.
You will have experience working as part of an MDT and ensuring the clinical development of yourself and others.
You will be required to supervise and train more junior health care professionals. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate clinical reasoning and have the ability to explain their decisions and actions in a way that all concerned will be able to understand.
You will need a flexible approach, excellent teamwork, organizational, and time management skills. Be responsible for maintaining accurate, confidential, and comprehensive patient treatment records in line with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Standards of Practice, Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) standards of conduct, and Trust documentation policies.
