You will be responsible for the transition of projects from the System Design team into the SOC operations ensuring impact analysis, capacity and availability management are considered prior to accepting new projects.
You will also mentor/oversee members of the SOC Engineering team, ensuring all operational tasks are completed and work tickets updated/closed on time.
You will also work closely with a site-wide network of engineers to share learnings, standardise processes, and influence broader engineering strategy. What We're Looking For - Completed an Electrical Apprenticeship with qualifications in Electrical Engineering (HNC/Degree desirable)
You will support and maintain a range of internal and customer-facing applications.
You will work closely with developers to deploy fixes and updates, document solutions and identify ways to improve tools, processes and automation.
You should be methodical, customer-focused and proactive, comfortable working across a range of technologies and collaborating with others to achieve results.
You will work with solids-handling equipment, including grinding, sieving, sorting, density separation, and vision-based inspection. What You'll Need To Apply:A degree in engineering. Exposure to separation technologies and solids-processing equipment gained in a process engineer or similar role.
You will be appointed to a newly established project team, assuming leadership responsibility for the delivery of individual work packages. Reporting directly to the Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will be accountable for ensuring the rigorous derivation and execution of the programme to achieve a robust and effective solution.
