You will need good knowledge of using Control Systems to control the hydraulics, things like closed-loop control, motion control, servo control, PID tuning etc.
You will be working on complex, bespoke test rigs that operate like “testing robots”, combining hydraulics, electronics, controls, software and mechanical engineering at a very high level.
You will cover a regional patch (roughly 2 hours primarily within Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Sussex and Surrey), working a 40 hour week with any overtime and further travel paid at 1.5x.
