You will play a key role in preparing the home for opening, including recruitment, systems implementation, regulatory readiness and culture-building, before transitioning into full operational management post-opening.
You will be a visible, hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with operational delivery.
You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift.
You will also support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessment, and liaising with GP's, district nursing teams and resident family members.
You will ensure that high-quality care services are delivered, compliance with regulatory standards is achieved, and that care workers are adequately trained and qualified. The role offers extensive training and benefits, including holiday entitlement and discounts at various retailers.
You will also be responsible for compliance for quality internally and for regulators and contract holders.
You will need to be an efficient, organised and experienced manager who is passionate about providing the best in community care with solid understanding of the statutory and regulatory framework relating to the group’s range of services.
You will be required to maintain the operations of the service at the standard agreed and within the financial budget or other parameters set. The skills, qualifications and qualities required in a Registered Manager: Driving licence (preferred) Extra Care Experience (Essential)
