You will work alongside experienced practitioners and leaders to offer and delivernurturingcare and support for children and young people who havelearning disabilities,autism and associatedcomplex needs. You will support children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, complex needs, or trauma backgrounds, while leading shifts and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality, compliant care.

You will oversee the smooth running of shifts, manage behaviours, respond to staffing issues and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

You will provide guidance and supervision to staff on shift, modelling best practice and maintaining a calm, structured and nurturing environment for children.

You will be a competent multi skilled engineer (with electrical bias) and ideally you will have previous experience with automated machinery e,g CNC, packaging, robotics

You will have HNC or HND qualification in either mechanical and /or electrical engineering.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and you will be able to work well under your own initiative.

You will lead on-site teams to deliver safe, well-maintained, and professional environments, ensuring maintenance, cleaning, and security standards are upheld at all times.

You will foster a service-led culture where customer satisfaction is central to every decision, monitoring feedback closely and implementing improvement plans where required.

You will be working with clients who have Learning Disabilities, Challenging Behaviours, Autism and other long term conditions who need support on a daily basis. All we ask is that you have at least six months experience of working in a support worker role, in the past 3 years and have a commitment to providing compassionate, person centred care to vulnerable people.
