You should be experienced in Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable, have good IT skills and be methodical and organised.

You will be responsible for your own supplier ledger and will work with them to improve processes where necessary by: Ensuring supplier invoices are received by the deadline given. Receipt of proof of deliveries Reconcile/match to orders on our bespoke system. Request missing documentation from the service provider and ensure prompt receipt, adhering to month end deadlines.
You will be maintaining the Materials Requirement Planning for the manufacturing site and build relationship with suppliers, negotiate cost-savings where possible, working in a fast-paced environment alongside internal departments to ensure the supply chain is smooth and to quality required.
You will manage a small but capable team, develop supplier partnerships in the UK, Europe, and China, and play a key role in driving efficiency, profitability, and long-term growth through smarter, data-led buying decisions.
