You must be able to build a trusting and friendly rapport with all of the service users and to work within the guidelines of local and corporate policies in a dignified manner.

You must be flexible and willing to work the required shifts patterns including evening, weekends and potential for night support, in line with needs of service users.

You will work closely with day staff and external agencies to ensure continuity of care and effective risk management. Key Responsibilities Participate in handovers with day staff at the start and end of each shift Maintain the safety and security of residents, staff, and the building overnight

You will be supporting children and young people with severe learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. This is a rewarding role where you will play a vital part in helping young people live happy, fulfilling lives in a safe, loving, and supportive home environment. No Experience Needed

You must have a full UK driving licence and ideally your own vehicle but there is a house car you will have access to - NVQ level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce would be very beneficial but would consider someone who is working towards their Level 3 qualification

You will need experience working within children’s homes dealing with children

You will support a young person with a history of significant trauma, neurodevelopmental needs (including ADHD and communication difficulties), and complex behaviours which may include dysregulation, heightened emotional distress, and absconding risk. This is not a routine residential role.
