You will provide an effective and efficient security service to all the Thales businesses and functions on site to ensure compliance with relevant national, Group and UK security policies and procedures. Key responsibilities

You will work with capture, bid and projects / programmes teams as they define their approach, supporting the teams in generating robust and defendable costed solutions that deliver through the various phases of the development, manufacturing and support life cycles.

You will become a key member of the team, with technical knowledge and practical expertise in the use of both common and specialist tools and test equipment, including the use of a variety of measuring, testing, diagnostic aids/equipment and processes to ensure individual components, assemblies and/or integrated systems meet the required specification.

You must be able to provide systems engineering decision authority. Principal Relationships: As part of the Thales Systems Engineering process you will interact with the following key roles: - Engineers at all levels

You will support the team to deliver sonar systems and equipment solutions to deadlines and within budget, including participating in systems requirements and design work, project reviews, system test and possibly site and platform visits for surveys, installations or trials.

You will either have proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally from an Electro-Mechanical assembly/fabrication background (other manufacturing environments will also be considered).

You will have a proven track record of delivering successful projects and/ or a portfolio of projects in a context relevant to Thales and working in a complex, multi-site organisation together with the following:- - Leading teams both directly (up to 5 people) and matrix (up to 50 people), including responsibility for discipline and objective and development creation, coaching, etc.
