You will also prepare estimates for multi-disciplinary projects and support the development and promotion of best practices in estimating. When visiting sites or meeting with clients, you may need to stay overnight and will be expected to foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
You will also contribute to strategic pricing decisions and support continuous improvement initiatives within the estimating process. Key Responsibilities:As a Senior Estimator, you will: - Lead Estimating & Cost Planning: Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates for large-scale marine projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
You should be comfortable reading technical drawings and specifications, have excellent numerical skills, and be proficient with estimating software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel). Experience with construction estimating tools and CRM systems would be advantageous.
You will have a proventrack recordof working in this sector with a broad knowledge and exposure to mixed tenure and contracting housing. Methodical,analyticaland organised, candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
