You will be joining an established and knowledgeable down to earth team.
You will be responsible for commissioning machinery and training customers on its operation, working with associated equipment including auxiliary PLC control systems, motors, drives, and HMIs.
You will play a critical role in supporting the supply chain for custom-built, engineered-to-order machines, working closely with suppliers to drive quality, delivery and continuous improvement. With over 100 years of heritage, this company has built an outstanding reputation for producing precision-engineered converting and printing machinery, supplied to customers worldwide.
You will also provide hands-on training to customers, ensuring they get the best from their equipment. The role involves working with a range of associated systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, and HMIs and so an understanding of machine controls from a manufacturing environment where production is automated or from working for a specialist machine builder is useful.
You will become part of a very busy and successful management team and will play a vital role within a business who have been at the forefront of their sector for over 20 years and have very ambitious plans for the future. The successful applicant will manage CAPEX budgets & projects and will have a strong focus on improving production efficiencies, engineering designs and order completion times.
