You will be working as part of a PC hardware deployment project across Inverness and Inverness-shire.

You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service. This will include significant periods staying away from home dependant on site location and a full UK driving licence.
You will work closely with the project delivery team, engage with client representatives and processes, and coordinate with civil subcontractors from mobilisation through to handover. In conjunction with the Quantity Surveying team, you will also support the commercial management of civil subcontractors.
You must be a UK resident or have proof of right to work in the UK
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and internal regulations, processes and governance.
You will preferably hold a professional registration or qualification, such as Chartered Project Professional, Chartered Engineer, or are working towards the same or similar.
You will have demonstrable knowledge & experience in the development and delivery of large EHV cable projects, safely to time and to budget, working with National Grid, SSE, SPENW and similar Cabling Transmission and Distribution Network Operators. This position will be based across site locations in Scotland, United Kingdom.
