You will be responsible for all the financial aspects of the project, working on the pre-con phase of tenders and then take the project through to site delivery.
You will work closely with the MQS and Commercial Manager as well as the client and site team, sometimes autonomously.
You will be responsible for key activities across both pre- and post-contract phases, across both traditional and 2-stage tenders. Your role will involve overseeing the design process to ensure alignment with client requirements while supporting commercial objectives and buildability.
You will be responsible for pricing, procurement, managing variations, submitting valuations and being the main commercial liaison for your projects with clients, subcontractors and external stakeholders.
You will be an experienced QS with a min of 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with a smaller main contractor.
You will have full oversight of all aspects of construction, leading commercial, procurement and delivery, managing the site management team, being supported by commercial and technical.
You will be responsible for programming, health & safety, client liaison, quality control and the general day-to-day running of the schemes.
