You will ideally have previously worked within fabrication, manufacturing and production from a design engineering perspective. It would be ideal if you had experience of leading a design team in the past, but they would also be open to a designer looking to step up. They would also consider someone from another industry provided they have good team leader experience and have used CAD software.
