You will be aware of the impacts of trauma and committed to the importance of working in ways which are sensitive to the needs of trauma survivors.
You will encourage and maintain full active participation in the community and enjoying activities at home. Activities can include walking in quieter/remote locations, drives out to the coast, arts and crafts, shopping, cinema, bowling, baking, watching films and listening to music.
You will conduct thorough assessments and prepare detailed Child Permanence Reports.
You will provide ongoing support to children in care, ensuring their needs are met and their rights protected.
You will develop and implement ‘Keeping in Touch’ plans post-adoption to maintain connections beneficial to the child’s well-being.
You must hold a valid passport or Full Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence at your current address.
You must have proof of National Insurance and proof of address dated in the past 3 months. All applicants must be able to provide details of at least 2 satisfactory employment references.
