You will lead multidisciplinary teams, provide strategic technical direction, and ensure that engineered solutions meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. You will work as part of our multi-discipline engineering team delivering projects spanning nuclear including new build energy generation, defence and decommissioning sectors and other regulated industries, gaining experience at all phases of the design lifecycle, from concept through to detailed design for manufacture.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, provide strategic technical direction, and ensure that engineered solutions meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical leadership position and enjoys guiding teams through complex engineering challenges.

You must be able to use technology for updating records, budget and KPI management, completing online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.

You will work in our market which is predominantly focused on delivering engineering and waste management projects for clients within the Nuclear Decommissioning sector, with some projects focused on other stages of the nuclear lifecycle.

You will join an existing EC&I team and be responsible for the delivery of complex design packages for key nuclear clients.

You will be required to manage technical projects with a team of engineers involved in multi-disciplinary tasks and interfacing with other construction related disciplines.

You will inherit an exciting portfolio of work and future opportunities to develop and expand that team to deliver on projects helping to clean up the UK’s ever-expanding catalogue of nuclear facilities.

You should have a demonstrable understanding of the application of a Systems Engineering approach to design.
