You will play a pivotal part in our British Gas' Service Promise!
You will have plenty of support from our managers, mentors, and engineer colleagues but some of the jobs can be challenging and experience of working across an array of different boilers and central heating systems and manufacturers is essential.
You will learn industry-recognised methodologies, including business process modelling, stakeholder analysis, and requirements engineering, while building practical experience with real-world case studies.
You will lead cross-disciplinary engineering teams through the full system life-cycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, technical integrity, and stakeholder alignment. Your structured approach, calm leadership under pressure, and commitment to ownership will be key to delivering high-performance, safety-critical systems in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
You will have evidence of creating and managing 5-year plans.
You will have advanced IT and financial modelling skills.
You must live in Sussex or Kent to be considered for this role. In return for your knowledge and experience you will be rewarded with a competitive salary (£450-550 per day inside IR35) plus benefits package and perks, and the opportunity to work from home 2-4 days per week (TBC).
