You will work closely with Test Engineering and Production teams to ensure test equipment operates efficiently and evolves alongside product changes. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to support both new and legacy test systems.

You will play a key role in the build, commissioning, and support of automated and manual test equipment used both internally and by external customers and service providers. Role Overview: The Hardware Test Development Engineer will work closely with the Test Engineering department to build, commission, and maintain bespoke test equipment.

You will be working across our multiple Bristol sites including Babcock Technology Centre - Bristol, Ashton Vale – Bristol, Hawthorn - Wiltshire and Oakhanger – Hampshire. Essential Experience of the Principal Obsolescence Engineer Experience of complex systems and equipment.
