You will be working in a part of Telent that is dedicated to maintaining the UK wide rail network. Our customers include Transport for London, Network Rail and a host of Train Operating Companies. Reporting to the Lead System Engineer the senior engineer will be responsible for delivering project upgrade works across Transport for London and Network rail infrastructure.
You should be analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This role is part-time (3 days/week on-site), supporting councils with major infrastructure projects and providing critical commercial oversight to ensure smooth delivery.
You will contribute to the delivery of concept studies and strategies with hands on design, leading to planning applications or construction drawing issue.
You will have proven experience and an interest in helping the junior members of the team in producing designs.
You will have strong post graduate experience in a civil engineering working environment.
