Principal Environmental Scientist jobs in Devon

You will working as part of integrated design teams to improve the environmental outcomes of our projects – you will identify environmental constraints, identify impact avoidance and mitigation solutions, as well as opportunities to deliver benefits.

You will promote AECOM's environmental services to both internal and external audiences.

You will contribute to research and development in artificial intelligence and machine learning for weather and climate modelling, with an initial focus on advancing the FastNet Machine Learning Weather Prediction model.

You will have a proven track record of navigating these themes to support clients across multiple sectors.

You will ideally hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant environmental/earth science, broader environmental management, or engineering discipline.

You will be instrumental in improving the environmental performance for a diverse range of projects.

You will lead projects including bidding, project team management, project delivery and financial management. A typical week could include: Providing environmental advice and support to clients, project managers and colleagues

You will work collaboratively with a range of technical specialists on a broad range of projects, lead and coordinate Environmental Impacts Assessments and related deliverables, work closely with clients, develop new areas of business and mentor others in the team.
