You will work closely with Project Design Leads and stakeholders, driving innovation, ensuring value for money, and delivering solutions that meet high standards of safety, sustainability, and quality.

You will be responsible for the design and development of advanced DC/DC and AC/DC power conversion solutions for a range of high-performance applications. As a Senior / Principal Power Supply Design Engineer, you will take technical ownership of complex projects from concept through to production, contributing to architecture definition, detailed design, verification, and support.

You will work collaboratively as part of a wider team of multi‑disciplinary water and environmental experts that include specialists in the fields of EIA, HRA, water resources, hydro‑ecology, ground and surface water hydrology, geomorphology, water quality and natural capital.

You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of infrastructure, support staff and developers, cross-functionally supporting colleagues from across the business and the wider IT team to ensure security requirements are met and outstanding service delivered.

You must have demonstrable experience of Information and Cyber Security practices like NIST, Cyber Essentials +, ISO27001.

You will have completed a minimum of 2 years of your undergraduate degree but will not have graduated at the start of your placement.

You must be enrolled at a UK (United Kingdom) or ROI (Republic of Ireland) University for the duration of your placement.
