Primary Teaching Assistant jobs in Brent

You will be working in a Year 6 class providing support to the class teacher and preparing the classroom for lessons and activities.

You will need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be able to use your own initiative as well as work as part of a team.

You must also have excellent subject knowledge.

You will work closely with an experienced SEN team to support pupils with communication, sensory, social and emotional needs, helping them access learning, regulate behaviour and build independence within a structured and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ASD, in line with individual EHCPs and behaviour support plans

You will support pupils with ASD, ADHD and speech and language needs, helping them access learning and develop socially.

You will support the class teacher in managing the classroom environment, assisting with learning activities and providing direct support to pupils. We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for working with children.
