You will be working with students who are unable to access the national curriculum and instead follow individualised learning programmes. Support may be provided across the whole class or on a 1:1 basis with a named pupil. Students you will support may have a range of needs including SLD, MLD, ASD and PMLD.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, and play a crucial role in the delivery of a diverse range of clinical eye care services to our patients. The ideal candidate will be a GOC registered optometrist for a minimum of 2 years.
You will be supported by a Quality Assurance Team that is responsible for leading the team to drive up quality, reaching and exceeding KPIs and promoting our ethos for continuous improvement.
