You will have, or be working towards, NVQ3 in Health & Social Care.
You will have strong commercial awareness, linking financial performance to business strategy, and a hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You will be required to demonstrate a commitment to Health and Safety in all aspects of your work. Initially the focus will be upon learning and developing engineering knowledge through education and training.
You will be keen to learn and undertake a practical role. Additionally, due to the high complexity of the role it may mean standby or on call may be required.
You will be responsible for assessing progress, managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies, and supporting students in achieving their academic potential. You will be part of a team that delivers a broad, balanced, and inclusive curriculum for students. You’ll monitor and support students’ progress and development and contribute to raising standards and attainment, whilst motivating and challenging students to achieve their very best.
You will work with the department to contribute to improving and developing current curriculum resources.
You will be required to work on a 1:1 basis (or 2:1 with support of an additional practitioner).
You will be working on a flexible contract where various interventions will be offered based upon location and match with a student.
You will need to be available during daytime hours, Monday-Friday.
