As this is a completely new optical system, the role requires a high degree of creativity, with responsibility for developing first-of-their-kind assembly equipment and production processes.
You will work across mechanical, optical, and analytical disciplines to ensure that complex mechanical systems, sub-systems, and mechanisms come together into a robust, high-performance product.
You will take ownership of overseeing the lifecycle of the mechanical systems, ensuring that they integrate seamlessly with one another.
You will play a key role in the development of the company’s novel lens system, contributing from early concept through to production. Key Responsibilities The Mechanisms Engineer will: - Design and develop micro-mechanisms for precision optical applications - Integrate micro-mechanisms into the company’s optical systems
