You will be working with six people from principals to apprentices, liaising with operational managers, heads of departments as well as the Health & Safety teams. This role offers exposure to the Wider Control Damage Hazards team whilst individually being given the opportunity for professional growth within the function.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the Service. Due to the rural nature of Moray this is normally undertaken by use of a car or van. Must be able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
You will become exposed to a wide range of technical disciplines, be able to follow technical argument and be able to influence the integrity of the final product.
You will have five main areas of responsibility: To carry out agreed modifications to distillery HMI/SCADA systems. To support control projects with Maintenance teams and Project Engineers. To collaborate closely with Distillery Management Teams on PLC, control and instrumentation matters.
