You will need good knowledge of using Control Systems to control the hydraulics, things like closed-loop control, motion control, servo control, PID tuning etc.

You will be working on complex, bespoke test rigs that operate like “testing robots”, combining hydraulics, electronics, controls, software and mechanical engineering at a very high level.

You will have previous offshore experience and hold valid BOSIET/MIST certificates. It is preferred but not essential if you also hold all or some of the following certification; ERT, HERTL, HLO, Fire Team Leader.
