You will do this by analysing the complexities and subtleties of how digital information is formatted across a wide range of types, including office suites, media, images, 3D, GIS and various specialist formats to build an internal knowledge base covering file formats and the tools that manipulate them.

You will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems used in fusion energy experiments. Candidates should have experience with low voltage systems and strong practical skills in wiring and panel building.

You will contribute to the development and support of distributed control systems for Diamonds photon beamlines and experimental stations. This includes tasks like requirements gathering, software design, development, documentation, and commissioning new solutions.

You willworkclosely with scientists, engineers and technicians designing, building, and operating the photon beamlines.
