You will provide person centred care and support to adults on the autism spectrum – who may also have learning disabilities and complex needs.
You will support them in all aspects of everyday life, alongside promoting and encouraging engagement in community activities.
You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and to work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
You must be able to build a trusting and friendly rapport with all of the service users and to work within the guidelines of local and corporate policies in a dignified manner.
You must be flexible and willing to work the required shifts patterns including evening, weekends and potential for night support, in line with needs of service users.
