You will be an integral part of a team of Technicians carrying out ultrasonic testing of bars and forgings in line with national, international, and customer specifications and procedures. Other duties include: - - Provide training, coaching, support and guidance to the NDT team
You should have a strong background in NDT, ideally with experience of working on Aerospace, Nuclear, Defence or other safety critical parts. A typical day may include: - Hands-on Ultrasonic inspection. - Hands-on visual inspection and dimensional inspection. - Generation of Inspection certification and part specific technique sheets.
You will be required to supervise approved Contract Partners, providing risk assessments and method statements where permit to work is required for a given task.
You will also be required to use a Toughbook to capture all work activity and job status in line with workflow processes.
You will be responsible for servicing, diagnostics, and MOT testing within a supportive work environment. The position offers a competitive salary package of £37,000 - £39,000, along with immediate start possibilities.
