You will play a key role in maintaining payroll records, supporting month-end and year-end procedures, and ensuringpliance with data protection regulations. You will be assisting in the day-to-day payroll workload, working closely alongside the other members of the payroll team reporting to the Payroll Manger and the Assistant Payroll Manager. Responsibilities will include: Supporting and working with the payroll team to assist in the process the 4-weekly payroll.
You will be responsible for: Check the number of hours employees have worked. Calculate wages and salaries. Handle all aspects of payroll administration, including starters, leavers, statutory payments, and terminations. Calculate pay raises. Issue tax forms and related documentation and assist employees in completing them.
You must be able to use Sage Payroll. Salary is between £25,000 - £28,000.
You will need to have excellent communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, internal sales team and colleagues to ensure that sales ledgers, purchases ledgers, payroll records are maintained accurately.
You will be required to maintain a clear and well documented filing system and record keeping and will work closely with the Directors and our Financial Controller.
