You will be based at the Bideford offices, whilst supporting all the other branches across the South West. Payroll Assistant Main Duties Have a strong level of understanding processing payroll from end to end. The main duties (but not limited to) are the following: Collect, compile, and enter payroll data using appropriate software.
You will support the finance team across a range of accounting and tax activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial management.
You will be well versed in all aspects of bookkeeping, VAT return preparation and management accounting for a varied client base, and you will need to have the confidence and interpersonal skills to become a trusted business advisor to your SME clients.
You will also assist with systems implementations, training and advising your clients on systems best practice.
