You will cast mass concrete and steel foundations and finish the groundworks phase in a variety of surfacing materials ranging from top soiling/soft landscaping or hard landscaping such as slabs/pavers/tarmac or floated concrete.
You will work as part of a team in a fastpaced manufacturing environment, ensuring products are built accurately, efficiently and safely. Main Tasks & Responsibilities: - Assemble parts or components according to technical drawings, work instructions or assembly procedures. - Operate hand tools, power tools and basic machinery safely and efficiently.
You will carry out routine servicing and inspections, diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime and maintain equipment performance.
You will undertake preventative maintenance activities in line with manufacturer guidance, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the required standard.
You will also plan and deliver lessons to our students that are currently studying an animal care qualification at key stage 4. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff, you'll support pupils' learning and personal development while promoting inclusion and wellbeing through outdoor education.
