You will serve as the key liaison between visiting teachers, Blackwell's activity instructors, and camp leadership. Key Responsibilities Organise group arrivals and departures efficiently. Coordinate daily camp schedules, ensuring children are prepared for morning and afternoon sessions.

You will need to be comfortable supporting the crèche team during lunch breaks, which may include helping care for some of our younger crèche children (4 months–2.5 years). You’ll also take part in our babysitting programme, with a minimum of two evening babysitting shifts per week (paid in addition to your salary).

You will be part of a team of coaches who will be leading and delivering sporting and physical activities primarily to young people aged between 5 and 16 years, however some activities will also be targeted at the 16+ age range. Staff will initially be employed to work on South Derbyshire District Council’s extensive range of summer delivery between the 7th July and the 29th August.

You will support academic, research, and operational activities within Engineering and provide expertise in the maintenance, repair, design, and assembly of electronic systems and laboratory equipment.

You will have a solid understanding of analogue and digital electronics, circuit assembly, and testing procedures alongside experience of microcontroller-based systems.

You will play a vital role in shaping the academic experiences of our students, fostering a dynamic learning environment, and contributing to the overall success of the university.
