You will have a deep technical background with significant and proven experience, holding an advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Physics or a closely related field.
You will be able to act as an ambassador for Opsydia internationally, with periods of travel to be expected with reasonable notice whenever possible.
You will work across mechanical, optical, and analytical disciplines to ensure that complex mechanical systems, sub-systems, and mechanisms come together into a robust, high-performance product.
You will take ownership of overseeing the lifecycle of the mechanical systems, ensuring that they integrate seamlessly with one another.
You will lead validation strategy from late-stage development through clinical evaluation, ensuring studies are scientifically robust, regulator-ready, and aligned with the intended clinical use.
You will work closely with assay development, data science, regulatory, and external clinical partners.
You will play a key role in the development of the company’s novel lens system, contributing from early concept through to production.
