You will handle both reactive and planned maintenance, manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules using MaintainX, and coordinate with contractors to ensure machinery is serviced and operating safely.

You will support the production team, contribute to improvement projects, and participate in our Out of Hours Call Out rota, ensuring a collaborative and efficient working environment.

You will represent the Company and be courteous and professional in your dealings with them at all times. Provide a call out response across all contracts. What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? A customer-focused attitude with a practical problem solving approach.

You will also provide support in relation to all maintenance tasks and projects being undertaken, including breakdowns, PPM, equipment updates, new installations and building maintenance or infrastructure upgrades.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our fleet of buses are maintained to the standard required by the Company, TfL and the DVSA.

You should have a thorough understanding of mechanical engineering and vehicle maintenance procedures for large vehicles, preferably PCVs, as well as knowledge of electrical engineering, bodywork construction and basic stores procedures.

You will take ownership of a substantial, multi-disciplinary engineering function within a rapidly growing organisation delivering complex, safety-critical electronic systems.

You will lead through a team of experienced engineering managers and senior functional leaders, shaping how engineering operates today and how it must evolve for the future.

You will be working with six people from principals to apprentices, liaising with operational managers, heads of departments as well as the Health & Safety teams. This role offers exposure to the Wider Control Damage Hazards team whilst individually being given the opportunity for professional growth within the function.
