You will be working as part of a team and will be responsible for:Handling and lifting heavy boxes and bulky items. Carrying out a significant amount of manual handling.

You should have a good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role. Basic knowledge of health and safety practices is advantageous.

You will create and maintain best practice reporting, procedures, and policies, and support the business with risk and compliance.

You will act as the connection between the finance team, senior management team and the CEO, helping to drive strategy and hit targets using financial insight, whilst also overseeing the financial team (4 people) as a whole.

You will be based from our open-plan Castleford head office (WF10 5HW), which is just a 5-minute walk from the train station, close to the M62 and A1 and has on-site parking.

You will also help to prepare monthly ledger reports, detailing any reasons for variances to management.

You will have an understanding of machine mechanics and the ability to troubleshoot.

You will deal with complaints promptly in an open and honest way

You will ensure that each shift runs as smoothly as possible and that our values form part of your shift management

You will be expected to lead from the front, you will be hands on most of the time, working on the line and dining area

You will be required to supervise approved Contract Partners, providing risk assessments and method statements where permit to work is required for a given task.

You will also be required to use a Toughbook/iPad to capture all work activity and job status in line with workflow processes.
