You must demonstrate a positive attitude towards Health and Safety and working with regulatory bodies, HSE, Environment Agency etc.
You will be fully responsible for the safe management of the worksite, which involves the skilled operation of site plant (excavators and dumpers).
You must be proficient in managing deep excavations, including the strict, compliant use of trench support and shoring systems.
You will be conducting excavation on public highways, specific sites, and private lands.
You must have good communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to articulate complex IT problems in a clear and methodical way and have experience dealing with difficult and multi-faceted problems. •Pro-active, responsive – able to prioritise and deal with intense moments of high activity using excellent analytical/problem solving skills.
