You will work as part of our multi-discipline engineering team delivering projects spanning nuclear including new build energy generation, defence and decommissioning sectors and other regulated industries, gaining experience at all phases of the design lifecycle, from concept through to detailed design for manufacture.

You will be joining a high-performing Project Controls function that takes pride in accuracy, integrity, and proactive support to project leadership. Working on large, complex engineering programmes, you will lead the integration of planning, cost control, estimating, risk management, change management, and reporting to provide a complete, reliable view of project performance.

You will be responsible for overseeing the timely execution and completion of both the pre-construction and construction phases of the project.

You will have ownership, responsibility, and accountability for the project, highlighting project risks, identify opportunities and mentor the continuous improvement initiatives in order to improve efficiencies.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, provide strategic technical direction, and ensure that engineered solutions meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. You should have a demonstrable understanding of the application of a Systems Engineering approach to design.
